Grasmere
Osprey Cottage and Osprey Nest are nestled in the heart of Grasmere village , which is well known for it's links to the poet William Wordsworth. The village is an ideal tourist destination in the centre of the English Lake District and takes its name from the adjacent lake.
A superb attraction of our properties, is being able to walk straight out from your accommodation onto the surrounding hills and fells to enjoy the spectacular scenery, there is a good selection of maps and walking guides for your perusal and use during your stay.
For the non walkers, there is a wealth of attractions and interests in Grasmere and the surrounding villages...
Grasmere and Ambleside offer some excellent dining out options, from Michelin restaurants, to more casual dining, again information provided for you during your stay in the information folder.
